It all started on Lake George in the hamlet of Bolton Landing, New York. After working together for 20 years in the fashion industry and starting an eCommerce serving the world’s largest fashion brands, husband and wife Buddy, Jr. and Jennifer Foy decided it was time to focus on their daughters. Working together as a family, they purchased a beautiful Victorian lakefront home built in the early 1900s, formerly the Hugh Allen Willison Estate. Eventually, converting the property and remodeling the main building to what is now known as The Chateau On The Lake, a 3-room inn and nationally recognized award-winning fine-dining restaurant.

  • Jen’s favorite sparkling wine is the Cava, while Buddy Jr enjoys a step up, Pol Roger (also Winston Churchhill’s favorite).

    Our Charcuterie features cured meats, pâtés, and artisan cheese. Our Sea Food Tower displays two tiers of chilled oysters, crab legs or claws, lobster, shrimp, and tuna tartare with accompanying sauces. Both our Charcuterie and Sea Food Tower serve 2 to 4 guests.

  • Our first-course menu items can be enjoyed as small plates for the table to share. Your server will be more than happy to guide you. Please experience our excellent small-production wine glass pours complementing our first-course creation. Buddy’s favorite; is the gram cracker-encrusted calamari paired with a white burgundy. Jen’s favorite; is tuna tartare and the Chateau Orignal, the hoisin braised lamb chop. The Tuna pairs with our Sancerre wine, and the lamb chops complement our right-bank Bordeaux.

  • While smaller organic farmers are struggling with the current labor market, they are still just as passionate about bringing their clients the highest quality of products. Our team works closely with these farmers to bring the highest quality, sustainable agriculture practices to your plate. Whether local or internationally sourced, ingredients are of the highest integrity and are prepared for your dining pleasure. Customers’ favorites include; The Chateaubriand. Truffled Mushroom Raviolo Topped with a Main Lobster Tail. Finally, we would be remiss in keeping from sharing with duck lovers that our chef’ prepared duck dishes are house favorites among most duck connoisseurs.

  • Why not treat yourself? Buddy’s preference for ending dinner; is a glass of left-bank Bordeaux and a flourless chocolate dessert. Of course, Jen’s donut bar creation was featured on the Food Network, or if you can’t skip your traditional Flordia dessert, there is chefs’ key lime pie.
